MF/HF Communications Server Software

This application manages and controls the different independent units (HF receivers, Digital HF Transmitters, CA-500-A Antenna Switch Matrices, MT-200-B Audio Switch Matrices, IT-200-A Telephone integrated units, etc.

It is also formed by one or several Clients Operation Positions where the radiocommunication operations take place. This operations take place through a software applications

The Server handles each of the System units by means of a RX-232C Serial Port connection. When you want to stablish a communication with the units located in remote positions, it will be necessary to use Modems, Data Lines, etc., that allow the exchange of RS-232C between the Server and the corresponding units. On the other hand, the workstations, communicate with the Server through a Local Ethernet Network.

The Server provides the workstations the possibility of creating MF/HF Transceivers groups formed by a MF/HF Receiver unit and a MF/HF Transmitter unit, both independent, to make different radiocommunication operations with such group.

Furthermore, the Server can keep MF/HF groups or unit to be used in other services or systems anothers than the MF/HF communications system itself (G.M.D.S.S., Navtex, RadioTelex, etc.).

MF/HF Operation Position Software

The operation position is part of a communication system run by a server that is in charge of controlling the different equipment that form the system. The link between the server and the workstation is made through the Ethernet network. The program can control up to a maximum of 8 HF groups, formed by a receiver, a transmitter and 4 telephone lines.

The task of the positions is to integrate by telephone a radio equipment, formed by a transmitter, a HF receiver and a RTC line. It can also take part in such integration in any direction. At the same time, it allows communication only with one line, with one ship only or with both at the same time.

Due to its dynamism there can be, simultaneously, up to a maximum of 4 telephone integrations between the subscriber and the ship, and talk at the same time through different equipment.

It has an independent time counter per line in the telephone integrations for its later rating. The counter has an automatic stop.

It also make a multibroadcast or multiple broadcasts for those equipment in which the microphone is activated.

It allows the supervision of dedicated equipment as the G.M.D.S.S., Navtex, Radiotelex, etc.

It has an alarm system to tell the operator, when told so. (Case of navigators warning).
